PlainFaith.com is a private, members-only web site for those serious about increasing their faith and knowledge in the Word (2 Peter 3:18).

Countless hours and many resources have been poured into the creation of this site. We have labored to produce high-quality materials for your benefit. The tools and resources on this site are here for members to use in their aim of pleasing God (2 Corithians 5:9).

This web site is devoted to providing quality Bible study materials. The Bible is viewed as the all-inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). As such, it is the guide to a fulfilling, rewarding life in service to the Savior—and eternal life in heaven (2 Peter 1:3-7).

There is nothing terribly fancy here; thus, the name of the site, www.PlainFaith.com. My conviction is the Bible was right when it was revealed and will be to the end of time (1 Peter 1:23-25). We need a simple devotion to God without addition or subtraction to His Word (Revelation 22:18, 19).

Yes, I am picky in many areas of life. I personally prefer quality over quantity, cleanliness, and proper English—ask my daughter about the latter. Here's the point, not everyone is suited to be a member of this site.

If you are active and humble in pursuing a knowledge of God's Word, if you are open to discussing Scripture and its application, if you will give me kind and candid feedback, then you are who I want to sign up. However, if you are apathetic, uninterested, and generally out for yourself only, thanks for visiting, maybe we will cross paths again one day—but please move on now.

As you may be able to tell, I appreciate straight-forwardness. I try to be plain, yet compassionate and kind with others. I hope you will do the same with me. Sometimes I am quite slow and need things spelled out. So, as a member you can benefit me (and others) by having our best interests at heart, speaking the truth in love (Philippians 2:1-8; Ephesians 4:15). I will strive to do the same for you.

Members are encouraged to be active in the discussion forum area; posting their questions and comments. As long as a member conducts herself/himself in a respectful manner, participation is welcome. That is, no personal attacks, filthy language, or riding a dead horse. Just as in the New Testament, issues were discussed openly and frankly with the goal of knowing God's will (Acts 15). That is the type of environment that is encouraged on www.PlainFaith.com.
